Substack Video, Transcripting and Clipping
Substack has been working on its video tools for creators, and most don’t even know about it.
They transcript your entire video, which can be added to the clips, if you like.
They also can also automatically turn those videos into podcast episodes and send them to the different platforms.

Restream Making Strides, Integrates More with Rumble and Kick
Restream upgrades integrations with Rumble, working towards eliminating the need for Rumble streamers to connect via RTMP integration, which only sends the video signal and nothing more. That means everything else about the stream needed to be set up in advance on the Rumble side before the stream went live. Now, more of it can take place natively within Restream, but it still has a way to go.
For Rumble, live chat now works back and forth to the Restream studio. Livestreamers can now show an individual Rumble chat on stream. It’s a big first step, but they still need to integrate with their helpful relay chat functionality. It was Read-only on Feb 3, upgraded to Read-Reply on Feb 28. Restream also pushes the Stream Title to Rumble, but it sadly does not:

comes with a description limit of 1024 characters (vs. Rumble’s native 4000).
There is no option yet to choose a category and subcategory, thus restricting where your stream can be found when it’s live
It also doesn’t allow for showing scheduled events in advance, so we can’t get a specific stream link in advance of going live.
The fix to the above is to log into the Rumble dashboard as a creator and edit the video to add the thumbnail and Categories once the stream is live, which only takes a second. It could be worse.
Restream upgrades integrations with Rumble and Kick
For KICK, Stream title now pushes, Relay chat now integrates both ways as well, so KICK users can now see YouTube, Twitch and Discord chats when relay chat is activated for a livestream https://x.com/Restreamio/status/1899563903778206020
Rokfin Continues Its Purge
Rokfin Rug Pulls more creators, including ours
With zero advance warning other than witnessing it happen to other channels, the follower count for our two Rokfin video channels were zeroed out, and our access to upload and livestream has been removed. I’ve noticed that Roar Media (who was active), Robert Durden, Tara Reade, Robbie Jaeger & Due Dissidence all had their followers zeroed out. Not a big deal for us, as we had already abandoned the platform for a MULTITUDE of reasons, but it showed their lack of caring about the creators once again that they removed the followers without any communication. Here was the weak public tweet they posted after Ryan from The Last American Vagabond tweeted https://x.com/TLAVagabond/status/1900583705573298450, challenging them to address what was happening.
The excuse Rokfin gave was that they only want to work with creators who have paid premium monthly subscriptions and are using the platform to promote exclusive content available to premium subscribers only https://x.com/TheRokfin/status/1900622699765936272.
Fine, but isn’t it their responsibility to communicate that beforehand as a business? Guess not.
