BREAKING: Rumble UPGRADES Again! Adds a Livestream Studio & Static Stream Keys: Indie's Tech Tips
Video platform Rumble gets A FREE Web-Based MultiStreaming Studio Tool & static stream keys, both still in BETA
Rumble, the up-and-coming video platform challenging YouTube, has launched the Beta version of Rumble Studio, a web-based multi-platform livestreaming app. Learn all about it here. If you’re familiar with Streamyard, Streamlabs & Restream, you will like what you see here. Rumble has not been free of controversy and questionable spending (as I wrote about back in September of this year) - but THIS is good. Investing in the technology and the tools to bring in more creators. The multi-stream will go to Rumble, Locals, YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook and Custom RTMP (like Rokfin or Telegram or Odysee)

They announced the plans back on November 7, we got beta access last week for our Independent Left News channel,
and .
So far, it looks smooth and easy to use, but is not quite as feature-rich as both the Professional version of Restream we sub to, as well as the customizability of OBS. Clicking the Green “New Stream” button in the screen cap just above takes you to the “Create New Stream” page below.

The only hiccup so far was a tiny bit of trouble connecting a Facebook page (as opposed to my personal account). I’m sure this will all be worked out quickly. It’s still in beta, so bugs are to be expected.

Clicking the “Next” button once you have the stream info completed will take you to this streaming studio. Share your camera, screen and invite others to join the stream and do the same! Different standard layouts available.

I will write a follow up after we play with it further. (please give this post a like and share if you learned something new!)

Also Added: Static Streaming Keys!
After a long-awaited arrival, Rumble has finally released STATIC STREAMING KEYS!! Why does this matter? It makes streamers’ lives slightly easier. It can potentially eliminate one step in the process of creating your stream to go live each time.
Below is the announcement from Rumble and a note from Head of Product Rick Racela:
Since Rumble introduced Livestreaming capabilities, It’s been a slightly clunky process. The requirement of a paid 3rd party software like Streamyard, Streamlabs & Restream or free open source software like OBS have made the technical side of “going live” a challenge for those without the skills, desire to learn how or an engineer to help.
Some even choose to simply upload their videos rather than stream them (this is not the best idea for optimizing your view count on Rumble - they have been pushing and amplify whomever is LIVE - not uploaded - unless you have a massive channel)
The way it’s been working until now, even AFTER recreating your Streamyard, Streamlabs or Restream stream to Rumble, you then needed to go BACK into the streaming software and add/update your stream key, which has been different every time.
Now with the new static key, just after you create your new stream in Rumble, you’ll need to tell Rumble, via a drop-down menu on the new Static Stream Key tab, which stream info to associate with what’s about to start. See the image below for more. The good part is you won’t need to put a unique key into your 3rd party software each time - if you go this route.

Set up your static key here: rumble.com/account/static-stream-keys

You will still alternatively be able to use the current process, which issues a unique RTMP address and key for each livestream to plug into your streaming software.
