There are only three options on the table for those who want to keep going in the current environment:
1. Shilling and ads;
2. CONSOLIDATION to make a direct funding model viable and the offering competitive; or
3. Death of (truly) independent media.
That's it. No other options on offer.
I'm hoping for option #2 in Australia & NZ and am working as hard as I can to make it happen...but I can't do this on my own.
