They’re supposed to be upholding the Constitution but are capitulating to ICE and ti people working there who have no idea what they’re doing because they’re giving a $50,000 signing bonus and now get to be thugs.
And yes, Geo Group which manages detention facilities, needs to go. This for-profit detention company has been funded by Republicans and Democrats alike because they contribute large amounts of money to political campaigns. They are now involved with ICE . They had been cited for terrible conditions in corrections across the country. As you can imagine. if you have a for-profit detention operation, you try to cut costs as much as possible, including food, healthcare and allowing unsanitary crowded conditions that lead to physical and sexual abuse.
