Another spill for Colonial Pipeline, this time in TN. And once again they've seemed to underestimate the severity of it. Their first guess was 24,000 gals...just remember their record breaking 1.5M+ gal NC spill was first thought to be only 63,000 gals.

Colonial also reported excavating 634 "anomalies" last year—and had to make 482 repairz in segments of the pipe located in a HCA (High Consequence Area), which are areas where results from a spill could highly affect drinking water supplies, endangered wildlife, etc.

I don't think I'm going out on to far a limb here when I say that the Hunterville, NC Colonial Pipeline spill is not only the largest inland pipeline spill in US history (and should be discussed as such), but when all is said and done, it will hold that distinction by a mile.
