Agreed that a transition plan is needed. We need a health care solution before we need a health insurance solution. No citizen should be denied needed care or be bankrupted by it.
There's a way for government to directly provide a safety net that does not require a guaranteed profit to an insurance company, at extra expense to the system overall.
Maybe but that’s not what is happening here. Millions more who were covered are about to be priced out. The Medicaid expansion made insurance possible for millions that won’t be able to afford it without a subsidy. That will cost us all more as the uninsured rise and go bankrupt from being unable to pay. It’s a lot more complicated than you make it out to be, plus the Republicans aren’t even fronting that they’re going to “Repeal and Replace” like last time. No replacing, just repealing. We go back to 2007.

Obamacare unnecessarily and dramatically increased healthcare costs. It reduced competition. It's past due for a dramatic makeover.
