October 7-8, 2022 was also the day of the launch of the Indie Media Awards, which honor journalists & outlets that advocate for Julian Assange’s freedom. Richard was one of the 38 honorees in the inaugural class of 2022.
Richard also covered the High Court appeal in October 2022, at which Julian reportedly had a stroke.
His ability to live tweet that quickly and accurately is phenomenal.

Richard dove very deep into several areas of the case, including the Special Administrative Measures, or SAMS, that the government will likely impose on Julian if he’s extradited.
