Free Julian Assange! February 17, 2024
Our Daily Reminder to Keep That Fire Burning and Awareness High! His Public Hearing Will Be on February 20-21. Details Inside At the Bottom
Julian Assange’s extradition hearing at Old Bailey happened over 17 days in September 2020. the Assange Defense website did an excellent job recapping & detailing each day of the trial, and summarizing each witnesses’ testimony. Most every witness testified to a different aspect of the case and why he should not only not be extradited, but Julian Assange should be released and the charges dropped. A handful of journalists and outlets covered the trial live, but due to no cameras or recording equipment being allowed in the courtroom, everything had to be relayed after the day’s proceedings were over.
